The English Riviera celebrates its fresh seafood offering at a wonderful variety of restaurants, pubs, cafes and fish and chip takeaways. From the high end to the budget offering, the choice in this area is excellent, hardly surprisingly given the quantity and quality of the catches coming into Brixham, one of England’s main fishing ports, every day.
Chefs are constantly coming up with new ways for their guests to enjoy the fare, but they certainly don’t ignore those that prefer more of a land based diet, and even at the more specifically seafood establishments, you should always find a meat or other alternative.
It's easy to eat on the move when in this area, as there are some great fish and chip shops, offering the ultimate English traditional seaside experience, although be mindful that there are some hungry seagulls on patrol, and feeding them is a definite no-no!
