Nature lovers will be spoiled with Dorset Wildlife Trust’s reserve just 5 minutes walk away at the end of the lane and Thomas Hardy fans will find it the perfect base to explore Hardy’s Wessex. Weymouth’s sandy beaches will delight children and the pretty harbour is a wonderful place to stop and watch the world go by.

The nearest airports are Bournemouth International, Southampton and Exeter. Lorton House is easily accessible by train also from London Waterloo, Upwey station is a 10 minute walk.
Road Directions
From Dorchester Road, turn into Lorton Lane and continue straight ahead over a railway line, over a road bridge and you will see a sign to Lorton Meadows on your right. Turn left opposite here and continue down the drive.
