In addition to the 4 bedrooms, there is a dog snug on the ground floor with direct access to the large back garden, which, with a Smart TV and day bed doubles as a children’s TV room. We have a large kitchen dining area that extends into the conservatory. Queen Victoria once visited the neighbour's kitchen and parked her carriage where the kitchen stands today – please have a read of our historical blog.

We are located 200 metres from the coast. Although we do not have a sea view due to the geography of the area, we do have a secret footpath to the coast which makes for a lovely 600-metre walk. We have close connections to Charles Dickens who spent a summer in the village writing David Copperfield. We recommend exploring the local history with a guided tour of our curated literary walk.

We take two dogs of any breed at a cost of £20 per week and have an electric vehicle charger at a cost of £30 per week. We only operate weekly rentals from March to October, with check-in day on Fridays. In our off-peak season, we offer shorter stays.
