At Whitebeam Wood, we focus on providing our guests with comfort and quality whilst maintaining our commitment to sustainability.
We are dog owners and have always had three large dogs, so we understand the needs of dog owners completely. We don’t have a limit on the number of dogs, their breed or size, and they are welcome in all rooms.
2,500sq ft of newly renovated house awaits you with sea views, soft sofas, a kitchen for entertaining, and super comfortable beds. There is a super king in The Lighthouse Suite, two king-size beds in both The Garden Room and The Beehive, and a zip-link king in The Boathouse that can also be two full-size single beds. All bedrooms feature TVs and en suite bathrooms with rainfall showers. TheLighthouse Suite has a double-ended roll-top bath.
An open plan 55 ft long kitchen, dining, and lounge provide sociable spaces to dine and relax. Huge sliding doors open onto the sun terrace, and the balcony offers views across our wood, the village and out to the sea. We also have a wood burner for cool evenings.
Our guests can enjoy exclusive use of the 1.2 acres of garden and wood surrounding Whitebeam, enclosed with 5ft fencing, creating a safe space for children and dogs to roam and explore. The property includes four outdoor living areas; a Fire Pit Garden, Lookout Lounge with sea views, the Secret Garden with outdoor dining area, a BBQ, and the Sun Terrace.
We have an EV charger for guests’ use as the last thing you want on holiday is ‘range anxiety’.
We know that holiday time is precious, and our guests don’t want to spend it researching where to walk, eat, drink, visit and shop once they arrive - so, we have done the research for you with our online guide.

Our closest train station is Totnes, from there you can get a Taxi the 13 miles to Slapton. The village has a community shop. Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are 7 miles away from Slapton also accessible by taxi.
