Guests have complimentary access to the estate’s exclusive spa where indoor and outdoor heated pools, an eco-pool, sauna, steam room, gym and spa treatments can be enjoyed. On the wider estate there are numerous lakes which can be explored by canoe or paddle board. A firm favourite with young and old is paddling the Canadian canoe across the lake and watching herons flying lazily over the water. A Canadian canoe is provided at the house while kayaks, paddle boards and bikes can be hired prior to your stay. Tennis courts, playgrounds, cycle tracks, nature trails, bird hides all await your enjoyment. There is an abundance of wildlife on the estate and you may even spot an otter or a beaver. The Lower Mill Estate has its own restaurant and a shop for everyday essentials.

Daisy Chain is thoughtfully laid out over three floors, providing effortless family living. On the ground floor you will find an ensuite kingsize bedroom, a twin-bedded room and a single room along with a family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to the deck and the lake beyond and provide wonderful views of the sunrise. The social hub of the house is the living area on the first floor. Its open-plan design, impressive high ceilings and wall to wall windows give unforgettable views across the lake.

The well-equipped kitchen makes food preparation easy whilst the oak dining table provides a wonderful space for enjoying family meals together with the lake as a backdrop. The wood burner sets the scene for cosy evenings enjoying hot chocolate whilst snuggled up on the sofas. There are many options for eating out locally or why not hire a private chef to cook for your celebration? Also on the first floor is a bunk bedded room, loved by children. On the top floor you will find a spacious ensuite, kingsize bedroom - a perfect peaceful oasis for grandparents. Daisy Chain comes complete with everything needed to make travelling with babies and children that much easier. From stair gates to cots, high chairs to toys and games, you will find it all.
