Ever since a young boy, I had an interest in the English countryside, especially wildlife, and was a member of the Young Ornithology Club from the age of 10. I spent a lot of my time tramping around the countryside looking for nests until I reached the age of beer and women! I started working life at a small publishing company illustrating images for various products including postcards, models and books, for sale in museums and other visitor outlets.
In 1990 I started a multimedia business with my father, where we produced custom written public information systems that were installed in visitor centres, museums and other attractions throughout the UK. These were all very varied in content from the story of the red kite for the National Trust in Wales to a cartoon animation of Nelson’s flagship for the Naval Museum at Portsmouth. Much of this work required images and so began my love of photography.
Born in Worcestershire I moved to the North Cotswolds in 2009. Although my portfolio of images covers many areas of the British Isles, I was always going to concentrate on what’s right outside of my window - the beautiful rolling landscape and pretty villages of the Cotswolds.
Today my time is split between managing my holiday cottage in Chipping Campden and my landscape photography. I have thousands of images available on stock photo libraries and an on-line shop with prints, posters and other gifts featuring my work.
